Contacting the Board of Education
The public is invited to attend all meetings and workshops of the Board. All board meetings provide time for elected trustees and the administration to hear your concerns and opinions on any school-related topic, whether or not it is on the agenda. Members of the public are encouraged to contact the Board Office (269-857-1444) by noon on the Wednesday preceding any regularly scheduled board meeting if they have an item they wish to suggest be placed on the agenda.
Although public comments are encouraged by the Board, it is the policy of the Board of Education to defer answers or comments to a later time. Prior to placing an item on the agenda, the following steps should have been met when the issue pertains to a building or department level concern:

STEP 2 Contact the principal
STEP 3 Contact the superintendent
STEP 4 Contact the board of education
